Only slightly larger than a pack of cigarettes, the VTU Max Vehicle Tracking Unit is perhaps the most intelligent Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring system available on the market, today. The feature packed VTU module can be programmed OTA (Over The Air) by an authorised command center and enables compatible fleet management software to monitor vehicles with ease and quick response speed. Included in the several benefits fleet owners can gain from using the VTU are the warning and reporting of possible deliberate speeding violations and multiple 'out of area' (Geo-Fence) crossings by the vehicle. Doors and other points could by monitored by sensors and any change of state reported immediately. Remote enabling or immobilisation of the vegicle or other key devices, could be performed by the control center.
Running cost is kept to a minimum by utilizing reliable GPRS or SMS messages. The driver has the ability to ‘call back' to base or trigger an emergency assist button, in the case of emergency or possible hijacking. This compact unit is easily mounted or concealed, and consumes less than 1W of power.
